ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY – FAMILY LAW
Avni Hathi is an associate attorney at The Law Office of Dana L. White., where she uses an empathetic and patient approach to help clients find a new beginning during the most trying time of their lives. Avni knows that navigating family law matters requires not just legal expertise, but also a deep understanding of the emotional challenges involved.
Her commitment to making a positive impact led her to work with SafeHaven of Tarrant County, the only state-designated family violence center in Tarrant County, where she provided vital legal support to survivors of family violence. This experience reinforced her dedication to family law, and she continues to advocate for her clients with the same level of care and determination.
BACKGROUND
Avni was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. She attended the University of Texas at San Antonio, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Biology. She went on to obtain her law degree from UNT Dallas College of Law, where she graduated Magna Cum Lauda.
Before becoming a lawyer, Avni worked as a Law Clerk for a family attorney in her hometown of San Antonio. She also interned for the 438th Judicial District Court with Judge Rosie Alvarado, who had the honor of swearing her into the Texas State Bar three years later.
From a young age, Avni was drawn to the idea of helping others through challenging times. Her passion lies in helping families and children, as she guides them through the complexities of family law. Avni chose to become a lawyer with the sole purpose of making a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
COMMUNITY AND PERSONAL LIFE
Outside of work, Avni loves traveling and spending time with her fiancé, family, and friends - especially her two little nieces. She is an avid basketball fan and enjoys cheering for her hometown team and her new team, the San Antonio Spurs and the Dallas Mavericks.
